Rugby isn't exactly one of the four major sports back here in the United States, but when our best players are competing at the highest level, you bet sports fans are going to tune in.

That's the beauty of the Olympics, isn't it?

Fans got a jolt of energy on Tuesday afternoon when Team USA won the bronze medal in Rugby at the 2024 Paris Olympics, utilizing a walk-off try from Alex Sedrick, taking it the length of the field in the final seconds to stun Australia in the Bronze Medal match.

Team USA trailed 12-7 with under a minute to play, but Sedrick truck-sticked a defender and ran for what looked equivalent to a 70-yard run for the game-winning try.

It was the first-ever Rugby Sevens medal for the United States.

While fans back in the USA likely had very little idea what was going on, or what the rules of the game were, the excitement was undeniable as the walk-off win took place. Here's a look at some of the celebrations that took place:

You don't have to know the rules of the game to know that this was an incredible moment and one that will be remembered for a long, long time going forward.
