The latest edition of the Parts Unknown podcast on Ringside Intel has dropped. Hosts Jason Burgos and Jose Maldonado give their predictions for SummerSlam 2024 and dig into the latest news in the world of professional wrestling.
WWE’s second biggest event of the year is this weekend, and the hosts give their thoughts on who will come out on top in every match on the card. With the event featuring CM Punk vs. Drew McIntyre and Cody Rhodes vs. Solo Sikoa, there are tons to get into. They also give their thoughts on whether or not we will see the long-awaited return of former undisputed champion Roman Reigns .
Next, they discussed the recent rumors about CM Punk’s contract status with WWE . What are the positives of a long-term deal for both sides and what more does Punk have to do to continue fixing his previously tarnished reputation?
The conversation then turned to the possibility of Bobby Lashley and MVP turning up in either AEW or TNA and which of those two scenarios would be the best fit. On a similar note, the hosts then talked about The Hardys and what their future holds, including the possibility of an NXT run via TNA.
Finally, they get into the rumors of Tony Khan re-branding Ring of Honor . How diluted is the ROH brand at this point and would adding the AEW moniker to it just further damage what was once one of the top wrestling entities in North America?
