Lady Gaga, aka Stefani Germanotta, is absolutely beaming after getting hitched to Michael Polansky , a source said.

The "Poker Face" songstress, 38, and her new businessman beau have been painting the town red in Paris during the Olympic Games despite the widespread criticism of her performance . An insider gossiped that since Gaga - who passionately defended her performance - got the ring earlier this year, she's on cloud nine.

"It sounds cheesy to say she is happier than ever, but she really is," the chatty source spilled.

Since the pop icon began dating Michael back in 2020, her love life has made a massive turnaround, with the grapevine saying she accidentally dropped the engagement news. The informant continued: "She was in a dark space before she met him but he has been a steady, reliable and loving presence in her life, something she hasn't had for a long time."

Dishing to The Sun, the confidante remarked: "He isn't in showbiz and isn't fussed about all the glitz and glamour and that's been monumental for Stefani."

The engagement came to light when Gaga casually referred to Michael as "my fiance" while introducing him to French Prime Minister Gabriel Attal at the 2024 Olympic Games.

In a TikTok by the prime minister, you can catch Gaga mentioning Michael as "my fiance."

With a nod to her dazzling performance, Prime Minister Attal captioned the video: "Thank you Lady Gaga for your stunning performance at the Opening Ceremony. It was breathtaking."

Gaga wowed at the grand kick-off of the Olympics with 'Mon Truc En Plumes'. Some buffs were miffed, however, upon discovering the act was pre-recorded.

It was later clarified that Gaga's performance had to be pre-recorded due to safety concerns arising from the heavy rainfall in Paris. After her performance, the chart-topping star took to social media to share her feelings of pride.

Gaga shared on Instagram: "I feel so completely grateful to have been asked to open the Paris @Olympics 2024 this year. I am also humbled to be asked by the Olympics organising committee to sing such a special French song-a song to honour the French people and their tremendous history of art, music, and theatre. ."

The singer also expressed her determination to "celebrate French art and music" through her performance. She stated: "Although I am not a French artist, I have always felt a very special connection with French people and singing French music-I wanted nothing more than to create a performance that would warm the heart of France, celebrate French art and music, and on such a momentous occasion remind everyone of one of the most magical cities on earth-Paris. (sic)".
