Suspect sought in Escambia County ‘road rage’ shooting

ESCAMBIA COUNTY, Fla. (WKRG) — The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a road rage incident that occurred Tuesday afternoon.

According to an ECSO spokesperson, the shooting occurred around noon Tuesday and started on Pine Forest Road.

The suspect, who the victim reportedly does not know, shot at the victim’s tire and flattened it. The victim then pulled onto Longleaf Drive and called 911.

LOCATION:

No one was injured as a result of the incident.

There is no information on the type of vehicle or description of the suspect at this time.

ECSO is investigating. News 5 will provide updates as more information becomes available.
