In an attempt to make it to the 2024 Paris Olympics , the 27-year-old had to make sacrifices, including putting his music career on hold for five years. In the end, he fell short in both the 100-meter men’s freestyle and 100-meter butterfly during the 2024 Australian Swimming Trials, failing to earn a spot on the relay team for Paris.

Rather than hold on to the disappointment, Simpson is already throwing on his Olympics merch and looking ahead, including going back into music . For fans anticipating his music comeback, the star already teased a lot of “exciting projects” lined up, according to a press statement. There are 32 pages total with illustrations done by Amandine Thomas, while the storyline dives into how Simpson uses swimming to escape the chaos of life outside the water.
