Sometimes, the only thing to make a bad day better is to sing your lungs out. Finny the Labradoodle agrees, which is why he's belting out his favorite tune!

In an adorable July 29 TikTok video posted by @p.clark314 , Finny sings like there's no tomorrow to his favorite tune and he deserves an award! Take a listen below! He's got quite the set of pipes.

In the video captioned, "Finny’s Fave. Electric Ave by Eddy Grant," Finny seems to know what Dad's about to play once he grabs the record. The Labradoodle excitedly paces until the song begins. Then, it's showtime! The talented pup gives the song his all, howling along to the lyrics as if he's heard it a million times (maybe he has!). It's like watching a star being born—this guy's got the "it" factor!

Finny's followers think he's a riot, and it's giving diva vibes in the best way possible!

"I’m howling!!! Someone give Finny a Grammy already," one person remarked. "I get it Finny, one of my faves too," another said. "Ok but I need more of this, lol," another added.

Keep singing, Finny. Your fans love that beautiful voice!

Why Do Dogs Sing to Music?

Though Finny seems to really love that song, Laura Robinson, DVM, told POPSUGAR that dogs singing might be an "evolutionary response" that stems from the way wolves howl to communicate .

"Wolves howl to communicate to each other and call to each other, and sometimes the high-pitched music makes that evolutionary trait come out," Dr. Robinson says.  "Others think they may howl because the high pitch may hurt their ears, or they are trying to alert you to something or want attention."

However, because their hearing is more sensitive than ours, their reaction to music may not always be a sign of pleasure. It could hurt their ears because it's too loud or the frequency is too high and they're crying out for you to make it stop. It's important to make sure the volume isn't up too loud to protect their ears.

The American Kennel Club adds that when dogs howl to music , they even have a sense of pitch, which is also a part of their genetic code. It's the same as wolves. When they howl and others join in, each change their tone to sing a different note. When a song is playing, your dog might deliberately choose a different pitch to "sing" with to individualize their unique howl.

That said, dogs are incredible, and Finny tops the list!
