WHAT WE'RE TRACKING :

• Next rain chance late next week

PLANNING THE NE X T 24 HO URS: Expect a mild Wednesday night with clear skies and low temperatures near 60 degrees. Thursday will feature partly sunny skies and the warmest temperatures of the week in the upper 80s. Skies will become mostly cloudy late Thursday night as the remains of Francine slowly move north. The clouds will help hold up overnight temperatures in the lower 60s.

EXTENDED FORECA ST : We continue to track our conditional rain chance which will arrive by the weekend. Francine will move through the gulf coast states and then head north. We may see rain chances near the area as early as Saturday into Sunday if what is left of Francine can hold together. Right now, it looks like the greatest chance of precipitation and the overall track will stay to our south/southeast, and widespread heavy rainfall is not expected. We are keeping an eye on a weather system late next week that may bring better chances of rain and thunderstorms to southern Wisconsin.
