Eric Bischoff was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2021, joining some of the most legendary talents the business has ever seen. And now, during a recent Q&A session on his podcast , the former Senior Vice President of WCW has endorsed that Violent J and Shaggy 2 Dope of the Insane Clown Posse join him in the exclusive club.

And while this does initially seem quite a stretch, it should be noted that the duo has worked with WWE, WCW, ECW, TNA, and even ROH in addition to launching their own promotion, Juggalo Championship Wrestling, in 1999, which still runs shows to this day.

“I suggest here at 83weeks.com we start a petition. We want Insane Clown to Posse in the WWE Hall of Fame #83weeks.com. We’re going to start that right now because it’s going to take a while this is not this is not an effort that’s gonna happen quickly, but we can gain momentum because they’ve got a hell of a cult following to this day and I run into them out in the convention circuit too, and they are super great guys. I really, really enjoy being around them, and respectful amazingly talented. I love their energy, batsh*t crazy, and that’s the part I love the most.”

Before establishing themselves as horrorcore rappers with a devoted fanbase known as juggalos and juggalettes, both men were backyard wrestlers, having grown up as fans. Therefore, it is understandable that they used their fame in the 90s to get into the business.

Still, their true pro wrestling legacy will likely be JCW, which, over its 25-year history, has run 100+ shows that at times featured WWE Hall of Famers like Abdullah The Butcher, Jeff Jarrett, Keiji Mutoh, Terry Funk, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall. In addition, they have provided work for countless indie wrestlers, with it understood that their payoffs were some of the best outside of major promotions.
