Barack Obama's Powerful Words On Simone Biles' Performance At The Paris Olympics

Former President Barack Obama didn't mix words when congratulating the women’s United States gymnastics team and legendary Olympian Simone Biles after striking gold at the Paris Olympics on Tuesday afternoon.

“Congratulations to the U.S. women’s gymnastics team for winning gold and to the goat Simone Biles for becoming the most decorated American gymnast in history!” Obama said via X.

Obama is one to be cautious when it comes to watching sports. Especially when it involved the United States. He was seen earlier this month attending the U.S. Men’s Basketball’s exhibition game against Canada.

However, he didn't mix words when talking about Biles. Calling her the greatest of all time, or, in shorter words, “goat,” Biles now has the most gold medals, with eight in United States gymnastics history. Cementing herself with so many legendary athletes over the years that have competed for the United States in the Olympics.
