Travis Barker is auctioning off a plane ticket from a recent trip to Australia to celebrate conquering his fear of flying. The blink-182 drummer didn't fly for 13 years after surviving a fatal plane crash in 2008 that killed both of the plane’s pilots, Travis’ security guard, Charles Still, and his assistant, Chris Baker, and left him with burns on 70% of his body. Barker's friend DJ AM survived, but died of an overdose a year later.

With help from his now-wife Kourtney Kardashian, Barker flew for the first time since the deadly accident in 2021. Although he still admits that "it takes a little piece of my life every time I fly," the 44-year-old flew Down Under for the first time in 20 years earlier this year when blink toured Australia, and his Qantas boarding pass is up for grabs for $8,000 on the Trophy auction website .

"A true one of a kind item for the ultimate Travis Barker collector. Having not flown for over 13 years following his near fatal plane crash, he was finally able to tour again overseas recently," the website description reads. "This extremely rare commercial boarding pass is not just a piece of music memorabilia, it's a true piece of Travis himself, complete with original hand-written note and cross drawing."

The note reads, “I know I got angels watching over me.”
