"Can we apologize to Britney Spears?" Kelly Osbourne asks in a promo video for the newest episode of The Osbournes Podcast .
“Oh yeah! Britney, I really owe you an apology,” Ozzy chimes in as they replay the clip with his original comments about the pop star doing the same dance "every f***ing day" on social media.
“I’m so sorry for making that comment," Ozzy adds. "However, it would be better if you didn’t do the same f***in’ dance every day. Change a few movements!”
As Jack Osbourne bursts into laughter at his dad's comments, Kelly tries to put out the fire by saying: “I was gonna say, ‘Britney, never stop dancing. I love your dancing. It makes you happy. And I’m so sorry if any of us offended you.'”
Sharon Osbourne then gives her thoughts, saying, “Listen, I like Britney a lot,” before Ozzy adds, “I love Britney Spears, but it’s the same dance every day.”
Ozzy ends with a sincere apology. “I really do apologize. I love you and I think you’re beautiful,” he says.
“But mix it up!” Jack shouts.
Spears did not take kindly to the family's original comments and shared a lengthy message on Instagram, beginning with Ozzy calling her a "poor little thing."
"I'm not poor at all!!! I have more ligature in my left toe than any grown man or woman on earth!!! If you don't believe me, how long do you think I should keep this going for???" she began. “I know what it’s like to be judged...but I think it’s important to HELP EACH OTHER and invite each other to places that help our souls grow !!! There are actually people that do help others out and mean well that don't damage or demoralize another!!! In the world we live in with how incredibly cruel people can be, you have to be extremely careful with who you let into your circle and your heart."
She ended by telling the Osborne family "who is the most boring family known to mankind" to "kindly f*** off!!!"
