Mics Catch Simone Biles, Suni Lee Planning Olympic Gold Celebrations

Simone Biles, Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, and Jade Carey each picked up their first gold medal of the 2024 Paris Olympics after a stunning performance for USA women's gymnastics at the all-around team final on Tuesday afternoon.

Biles and Chiles were the only two Team USA members to compete in all four events. Lee performed in uneven bars, balance beam, and the floor exercise, while Carey participated in the vault.

After Team USA's win, NBC mics caught Biles and Lee planning their celebratory TikTok videos.

"Chomping. I want to do the chomping of the gold medals," Biles said.

"Okay. And I want to do the one that says, 'imagine what we would do if we didn't win," Lee added.

Sure enough, Biles and Lee did exactly what they were planning. Biles produced a TikTok where the entire USA women's team is chomping their gold medals. And Lee references Kanye West in her video with the famous quote : "Everybody want to know what I would do if I didn't win. I guess we'll never know."

With the team final win, Biles secured her fifth Olympic gold medal and her first since the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Olympics. Lee picked up her second Olympic gold and her fourth medal overall.

Biles and Lee will both compete again on Thursday, August 1, in the individual all-around final. Both gymnasts will also compete together in the balance beam final on Monday, August 5.
