It shouldn't surprise anyone who has ever heard about the Olympics before, but Team USA gymnast Simone Biles is absolutely the biggest story of the whole event.

She has been busting out moves so difficult that no one else will attempt them, and they are actually named after her. On top of that, she has seemingly fully bounced back from the 2020 games, where she struggled with the gymnastics equivalent of the yips.

On Tuesday, Biles led Team USA to gold in the women's team final, which not only got them on the podium for the first time since 2016, but also officially made Biles the most decorated gymnast of all time. Biles' eight medals surpassed Shannon Miller, who had held the honor since 1996.

Aside from Biles herself being one of the top stories in Paris, her husband and Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens has also been a topic of discussion. He was unable to attend the 2020 Olympics due to the pandemic, but he's there in Paris, and he is cheering her on every step of the way.

He was seen sporting a graphic tee with Biles and also appeared to be taking extensive notes in the stands. Every time he was shown on camera, he was clearly pumped for his wife, and he even took to Instagram to post about how proud he was of her.

"Witnessing history every time you step on the mat... Congrats baby on becoming the most decorated American gymnast in Olympic history!!!! Just wow!!!! 8 of them!!!!! So thankful I was there to see it," wrote Owens .

Biles, who has four more events to compete in, responded to the post, making it clear that it "means the world you're here," also adding, "My whole heart. I love you."

Owens and the rest of the new and old gymnastics enthusiasts will have to wait until August 1 to see Biles back in action. Until then, fans can just appreciate how well she has done already and also be happy for her as she continues to chase greatness at 27 years young.
