One of the biggest storylines for USA Gymnastics heading into the Paris Olympics centered around the comments made by gymnastics star MyKayla Skinner about this year's contingent for the Summer Games.

By saying that the "girls just don't have the work ethic" and that the "talent and the depth just isn't like what it used to be," Skinner's harsh take earned some intense backlash.

Even Simone Biles herself had to respond to Skinner's comments by saying that "not everyone needs a mic and a platform."

On Tuesday, after Biles led the women's team to an incredible gold-medal finish in the team final, the 27-year-old could not help but fire a veiled shot at her former teammate in her Instagram post.

Skinner has already apologized for her comments, but the apology has done little to appease the backlash. Even Biles herself isn't going to forget about Skinner's tirade anytime soon.
