    Many rain-free periods are ahead, but a classic “ring of fire” pattern to keep periodic t-storm clusters at times into Friday before conditions dry out this weekend

    The Chicago area sits north of the core of the hot dome which suggests scattered potentially active thunderstorms will be possible.
