One Piece episode 1113 begins with Perona infiltrating the Blackbeard Pirates’ prison to free her captain, Moria. She finds Koby in jail and asks him to save Moria in exchange for her freeing him. Meanwhile, the rest of Pirate Island celebrates Koby’s capture as they look to get money from the cross guild.

Although Koby escapes with the rest of the prisoners, the pirates waste no time chasing him. He decides to leave the escaped prisoners and acts as a decoy as they flee. Koby desperately tries to run from his attackers while the rest of the prisoners escape. The episode reveals that Blackbeard intends to use Koby as a bargaining chip to recognize Pirate Island as a nation.

However, Koby tells him it won’t work because of his affiliation with SWORD. Kuzan then explains that SWORD is a group of navy officers who resigned to battle the four emperors without the navy code. The episode returns to the present as marine reinforcements arrive. It ends with Garp and Tashigi getting ready to join the battle.
