She later reveals that she picked up the hatchling to understand Suzie. When the bird dies despite Sunny’s best efforts, her connection with Suzie becomes stronger.

Toward the end of the episode, Sunny recalls that Masa wanted to take her somewhere on the day of Zen’s performance. In her dream, Suzie relives that night. She turns to Masa and demands to know where he was, the very thing she hadn’t done in the real world. When she wakes up, Sunny is gone. It is implied that Hime was there, and she has taken the robot, just as she took all of Masa and Zen’s things from Suzie’s home.
