‘Eff Around And Find Out’ 😂🥇

    Your Olympics essentials.

    From F.A.F.O. to Golden Girls.

OK, so the very last question in the news conference after the U.S. women’s gymnastics team won gold came from Aly Raisman, a gold medal winner herself. She asked the team what their team nickname is, y’know, like the Fierce Five, Final Five and Magnificent Seven before them.

"I'm not going to say it," Simone Biles replied.

"Abbreviate it, just abbreviate it," Jordan Chiles said.

Biles got through the first two letters, "F" and "A," before finally giving up and pulling back the curtain on the team name.

"Eff Around And Find Out," she said, as laughter filled the room.

This morning, Biles revealed the more official name: Golden Girls , crediting her coach Cecile Landi for the moniker. It’s fitting, given that they’ve shattered the age stereotype that has long existed in their sport. With an average age of 22.467, the Olympic champs are the oldest U.S. women’s team since 1952 and no that’s not a typo.

Either way, the thorough tail whooping the Americans doled out sent the message loud and clear.
