Peter Strzok Is Finding It ‘Impossible’ To Get a Job ‘Because He’s Become So Notorious’ According to His Attorney

An attorney for former FBI special agent Peter Strzok revealed on Tuesday that his client had been struggling to get a job since his Russia investigation into former President Donald Trump and subsequent dismissal from the agency in 2018.

During an appearance on NewsNation’s Dan Abrams Live, attorney Aitan Goelman told host Dan Abrams that he and his client would be moving “forward with our constitutional claims that Pete was illegally fired in violation of his constitutional rights because he was fired for political reasons.”

After Abrams asked, “What is Peter Strzok doing these days?” Goelman replied:

Um, not a whole lot. It’s been impossible for him to get a job, actually, because he’s become so notorious thanks to former President Trump and his enablers in the media. So, he has been looking for a job. You know, as a former high-ranking FBI agent, you would think that he’d be easily employable, but people are, you know, afraid of controversy, and they’re afraid of being attacked by Mr. Trump and his minions. I will say that what we’re asking for in this case is for Pete to be reinstated. As you might know, Pete was one of the best agents in the FBI and the day that he was fired, good day for Donald Trump, good day for Putin, bad day for America, and we are looking forward to getting Pete back in that role. I’m sure Jim Jordan’s gonna be delighted when that happens.

“We shall see if that happens,” Abrams concluded.

Strzok – who led the investigation into alleged Russian interference in the 2016 election – was fired from the FBI in 2018 after leaked text messages showed him making anti-Trump remarks with FBI lawyer Lisa Page.

Strzok reached a $1.2 million settlement with the Department of Justice last week over the release of the text messages.
