From their up to date and stylish outfits, to being good quality whilst providing comfort, it’s no wonder why it’s become the nation's favourite.

And we are seeing fashion fans on social media heading to the supermarket for their clothes shopping more often than not.

One of the most recent items shoppers are rushing to Marks & Spencer’s to get their hands on their summer shoe collection.

Plyska, who is the founder of fashion marketing agency Genovi Creative, took to TikTok to share a video of her recent summer finds.

Filming the supermarket's wedges and sandals section, she said: “Walking through M&S realising that either they changed their target audience, or I have gotten older.”

She captioned the video with compliments to their summer shoes.

Plyska first showed off a £30.50 espadrille sandal in brown, before then turning the camera onto heel open toe sandals which cost £45.

She then finished the video with open toe wedges which come in brown and black and cost £55.

The video went viral, with over 69K people ‘liking’ the video.

Nearly two hundred fashion fans rushed to the comments section to share their thoughts.

“Absolutely love but their price tag doesn't budge baby god damn,” a fashion fan wrote.

“M&S is where it’s atttt,” another said.

Shoppers also agreed with Plyska on how they use Marks & Spencer’s as their go to shop.

“Honestly it’s where I buy most of my clothes now. I got cute wee sandals and the black wedge mules in the video,” one praised.

Whilst someone else added: “M&S clothes are reasonably priced and the quality is so good!

Deputy Fashion Editor Abby McHale revealed to Fabulous why M&S is the shop of the moment. She explained:

“M&S has really pulled it out of the bag this season, there is so much good product to be excited about.

“A brand once known for its ‘frumpy fashion’ that notion is long gone with it now being one of the leading high street stores for womenswear.

“Its handbag range in particular is super strong with them selling 170% vs plan, with lots more designer dupes for just a fraction of the price.

“The brand is now also the #1 for style perceptions, compared to the #3 spot it had last year, this comes from a really strong design team focused on modernising the brand, not only taking into consideration how the pieces look, but how easy they are to wear also.

“Price is also a big factor with you being able to get many good quality pieces all for under £30.

“After having a sneak peak of the upcoming collection there are so many more amazing pieces that are dropping over the next few months to keep your eyes on.

“Think leopard print dresses, colourful co-ords, embroidered boho jackets, plus lots of swimwear and amazing accessories, as well as great wardrobe staples that will last year on year.”

“I’m 31 and it’s my go to shop for clothes now.”

Another wrote: “I always got my work clothes from M&S... soon turned into all my clothes.”

Agreeing with Plyska’s point about if the shop had changed their target audience, an M&S fan said: “No cause I thought the same the other day and I am ready for the quality!”

Talking about the comfort and quality of their products, a shopper pointed out: “I've been buying M&S heels for the last 15 years, they've always had gems and are so comfy!”

Someone else commented on Plyska’s video, and said that some stores have “25 per cent of shoes.”

To which Plyksa replied: “Omg running to M&S.”
