Delighted Toddler Brings Treats To Equine Best Friend Every Afternoon

Nearly every day, these parents take their adorable toddler for a walk so that he can visit his favorite horse and bring him a snack! They shared the most adorable video of one of these outings on social media. In the clip, the little boy was totally thrilled to see his four-legged friend. What’s even sweeter is that the animal seemed equally pleased to see the child.

Having hopped off his bicycle, the toddler walked up to the horse’s enclosure still wearing his helmet. As soon as the creature spotted the boy in the distance, he came trotting over to say hello! Immediately, the child turned to his parents for a piece of apple to give the animal. It wasn’t a moment too soon, either, because the horse was already sniffing around for his usual treat!

“This is not our horse, but we do have permission to treat him,” the grown-ups wrote in their caption. “We take a walk (W rides his bike) almost every day to visit ‘Big One.’ W just adores him and it has become the highlight of our evenings.”

In the comments, the toddler’s parents shared a few more adorable details about their son’s sweet relationship with the local horse. They reiterated that the animal really seems to adore the little boy!

“He’s sometimes up in his barn, too, and if he can hear us calling he comes sprinting down,” they said. “They love each other.”

Apparently, this horse isn’t as friendly with everyone as he is with this toddler. In another comment, the boy’s parents added that this animal seems to get along best with children .

“The owner says he doesn’t take treats well from her, but loves the kids,” they wrote. “He’s always such a gentleman with us.”
