Beckham , 29, filed a lawsuit against Jony Ceballos, Deborah “Deb” Gittleman, and HoundSpa LLC on Tuesday, July 30, according to People .

The U.S. Sun has reached out to HoundSpa LLC for comment but the company and owners have not responded to inquiries from several outlets.

Beckham accused the business and its owners of “reckless and malicious conduct,” as she claimed they had been responsible for her dogs death.

The lawsuit also alleged that the chihuahua had “passed away a mere two hours after” its appointment in a grooming van outside the famous couples home .

Beckham claimed that Nala died on June 15 due to the “injuries and severe condition.”

“Nala went into the grooming van, a happy, healthy dog, but returned injured and in severe physical distress— breathing heavily and wheezing, with her chest pulsating,” the lawsuit alleged.

The actress had claimed she rushed her pet to a nearby vet who reportedly said “Nala’s tongue was blue, she had fluid in her lungs, and she suffered neurological damage.”

She and her husband Brooklyn Beckham announced the death of their pet on June 16 in an emotional Instagram post .

“Dear Nala, we miss you so much,” her husband wrote in the post.

“You were unexpectedly taken from way us too soon and hope others don’t experience a loss after something as simple as a grooming,” he claimed.

“We love you so much and miss you beyond,” he added in the heartbreaking post.

The lawsuit, filed in Supreme Court of the State of New York , County of Westchester, made allegations of a wider mistreatment of animals, according to documents seen by People.

These documents claimed the company had a “history of complaints.”

The actress also claimed the experience gave her “emotional damage.”

She reportedly said rushing her dog to the vet left her distressed as she treated Nala “like her own child,” according to TMZ .

We love you so much and miss you beyond.”

Beckham had also claimed that her other dog, Angel, has been affected by the situation.

She alleged that this pet has been dealing with dog shakes and screams when alone, according to TMZ.

The lawsuit will reportedly seek compensatory and punitive damages, although the actress has stated she would donate any money to a dog charity.

The actress had posted her own tribute on Instagram.

Her post’s caption supposed why she had made a public statement about her pet’s death.

“I am sharing this in hopes that it might prevent this from happening to other dogs,” she wrote.

“She was my beautiful queen and stayed by my side for 9 years through everything,” the actress added.
