Brooks Jensen Paid Tribute To Deceased Wrestler During NXT

Four months ago, Brooks Jensen caused controversy on social media after he wore a t-shirt honoring Ole Andeson following his passing, who, for those unaware, had previously been accused of using racist slurs. However, after the second-generation talent issued a public apology, fans soon moved on. And now, during this week’s episode of NXT, Jensen would pay tribute to another departed wrestler, although this time, the online reaction was very different due to it being via a Jimmy Rave t-shirt.

For those unfamiliar with Rave, the much-loved wrestler first made his name in Ring of Honor back in 2003 before joining TNA  and then returning to ROH. Yet, his life was sadly derailed due to drug addiction, and then, heartbreakingly, he had to have his left arm and both legs amputated due to infection. Still worse than that, less than two months later, he passed away, aged just 39, with no cause of death ever officially made public.
