In the 23-24 season, we didn’t get to see how well the future Hall of Fame quarterback would play under his new team in the Jets after he suffered a season-ending injury within their first drive of the season. The injury suffered was an Achilles Tear, which is never an easy injury, especially for a quarterback who is 40 years old but is expected to be ready for week 1.

Even before the injury, in the 2022 season, Rodgers saw a significant step back from what we have been used to seeing from him, only having a top-10 QB week once throughout the season. Aaron Rodgers may no longer be the elite talent that he used to be, but he should be able to get it done enough to throw up consistent fantasy numbers. He will hopefully be going into his first healthy season with the Jets, and he has a nice wide receiver room in Garret Wilson, Mike Williams, and rookie Malachi Corley.

The Jets also have almost an entire new offensive line after theirs struggled to protect any quarterbacks in the 2023 season. A main challenge Rodgers faces is the potential play calling for the Jets this season. Head coach Robert Saleh is known to be more defensive-minded and has never had a good offense during his tenure. Whether that is to blame for poor quarterback play or himself will need to be seen this season.

Due to Rodgers's contract, he should be the Jets' starting quarterback for the next two seasons, which will end when he is 42 years old. There is worry that due to his age, Rodgers may continue to regress or be more likely to become injured once again.

If healthy, Rodgers should finish at least within the top 20 QBs in 2024, making him a solid backup choice in 1 quarterback league. If he can't manage that, his time on Fantasy rosters may come to an end.

Our consensus projections for Rodgers in the 2024 season would be: 405 completions, 4314 yards, 28 touchdowns, 8 interceptions through the air, and 17 carries for 52 yards and 2 rushing touchdowns.
