Summary: Temperatures today continues to soar as a high-pressure system moves overhead. Heat advisory will be in effect from the lunch hour until 7 PM later today. This will likely extend throughout your Saturday as temperatures are expected to climb up to 105° by the time we get to the end of the week. A stalled front heading into this weekend will bring a chance for isolated showers. Smoke from the fires in the northwest will make way for hazy conditions on top of dust traveling over 7000 miles across the desert to reach us here in the state of Texas. If you happen to suffer from allergies, it may be rough for the next few days as that Saharan dust is expected to linger at least throughout the end of the week. A stalled stationary front will bring in isolated rain chances both Saturday and Sunday as temperatures decrease but still remain into the triple digits next week.

Today: Hazy, warm, sunny, humid and breezy. High Temperature: 103° Winds: S 15 G 25 MPH

Tonight: Clear, breezy yet seasonal night with Saharan Dust. Low Temperature: 75° Winds: S 10-15 G 25 MPH
