Simone Biles had no time for negativity while she was busy scooping up gold medals , and she's taken to Instagram to hit back at some of her cruel trolls .

The 27-year-old faced a barrage of criticism over her hair during the 2024 Paris Olympics, with some branding it "messy". Simone's response to the detractors was succinct and fierce: "Don't come for me."

She hit back by posting a close-up Instagram photo of her hair neatly tied back in a ponytail. In her defence, she explained: "[Her hair] WAS DONE but [the] bus has NO AC and it's like 9,0000 degrees."

Adding to her story, Simone mentioned: "Oh and a 45 min ride," The champion gymnast shared another selfie from the bus, sporting a pulled-back ponytail and eyes shut.

Dressed in a black tank top and flaunting a silver necklace, Simone kept it simple with Airpods, a nude lip, and winged eyeliner. Accompanying this post, she wrote with a kiss emoji: "Gonna hold your hand when I say this next time you wanna comment on a black girl's hair. JUST DON'T."

Hair comments aside, Simone triumphed on Tuesday, securing her eighth Olympic medal as Team USA clinched the gold in the Women's Artistic Team All-Around.

Team USA soared to victory with a score of 171.296, leaving Italy with silver and Brazil with bronze. This victory was dubbed a "redemption tour" after the team's silver finish in Tokyo 2020, following their gold in Rio 2016.

Simone struggled at the Tokyo Olympics, grappling with "the twisties" a condition that sends gymnasts into a spin while airborne, making it tough to pinpoint their landing. She withdrew from numerous competitions and stepped back from the sport to give her mental health the attention it deserved.

After a thoughtful pause, she made her comeback this year at the Olympics. NFL star Jonathan Owens, Simone's other half, was there cheering her on during the Women's All-Around, donning a tee emblazoned with Biles' surname and adorned with her photos.
