Coco Gauff Shares Olympic Village Living Conditions in Viral TikTok Video

Coco Gauff , the 20-year-old American tennis star , has taken to TikTok to share her experiences living in the 2024 Paris Olympic Village.

In a viral video , Gauff revealed the communal living conditions , noting that she and nine other athletes were sharing just two bathrooms.

The video , which features clips from various movies , included overlaid text reading :

“10 girls , two bathrooms #olympics.”

While the arrangement has caused some discomfort, Gauff mentioned in the comment section that some American tennis players had opted to move to a nearby hotel , leaving five athletes still in the village.

Despite these challenges , Gauff has embraced the Olympic experience , serving as one of the opening ceremony flag-bearers for Team USA alongside NBA star LeBron James .

Gauff’s participation in the Olympics has been notable.

She and Jessica Pegula secured a victory in a doubles match against Australia’s Ellen Perez and Daria Saville. In singles competition , Gauff advanced to the third round but was ultimately defeated by Wimbledon semi-finalist Donna Vekic after a contentious call.

The incident , involving a line official’s disputed call, left Gauff visibly upset as she argued with chair umpire Jaume Campistol.

Following the match, Gauff expressed frustration with the officiating , advocating for video reviews in future games .

“These points are big deals, ” she said. “Usually afterward, they apologize. So it’s kind of frustrating. The ‘Sorry’ doesn’t help you once the match is over.”

Though eliminated from the women’s singles tournament , Gauff continues to compete in women’s doubles and mixed doubles events at the Olympics.
