An Air Canada flight was canceled last week following an explosive verbal dispute between a flight attendant and a passenger, according to reports.

The incident took place Friday on a flight from Casablanca, Morrocco, to Montreal after a passenger asked for a blanket, CTV News reported.

The confrontation was recorded and shared on social media. At the beginning of the viral 29-second clip, the flight attendant, who is speaking French and English, scolds the passenger while standing in the aisle.

In the footage, the flight attendant first chastises the passenger in French for "bullying" a crew member on board and warns them to follow her direction.

In French, the flight attendant says, "Behave, or you will get off!" She told the passenger she would "tell the captain right away."

She reportedly denied the passenger's request to call the captain, the Canadian outlet reported, as other passengers on board remained in their seats during the back and forth.

"I don't want no bullying against my crew. OK, everyone, behave," the flight attendant then says in English before storming off. She turned around to reprimand the customer again before the video stopped.

Air Canada releases statement; passengers compensated

In a statement to the New York Post, Air Canada apologized for the inconvenience . The customers were assigned another flight for Sunday with a different crew and were compensated for the incident, according to the statement.

“We are taking this incident very seriously,” a spokesperson told the outlet. “It is under review, and we will take appropriate action. We apologize to our customers and deeply regret that their experience today fell far short of what they have come to expect when flying with Air Canada.”

    Other airline incidents

On Sunday, United Airlines flight 2477 departing from Houston was diverted due to a "medical issue " on board. The airline didn't disclose the cause, but radio traffic recordings suggest there was a biohazard.

"It's quite bad back there. It's still really bad. The crew is vomiting and passengers all around are asking for masks, etc," a person could be heard saying on the recording.

The plane was deep cleaned, and the flight eventually landed in Boston hours late.
