Snoop Dogg Addresses Claims He’s Rocking Satanic Baphomet Chain At Olympics

Snoop Dogg is clearing up some confusion about his new gold chain at the 2024 Paris Olympics. On Saturday (July 27), the West Coast legend was the target of an X/Twitter account’s post, claiming that he worships Satan. “If you were on the fence about which side Snoop was on – he made it clear upon his appearance at the Satanic Olympics ritual. He wears Baphomet upon his heart ,” the account typed.

Another profile on the platform blasted the emcee for “[losing] his soul.” “I saw Snoop Dog wearing it when he was interviewed on TV multiple times at the Olympics. I don’t believe him at all. He is wearing Baphomet around his neck in full view and is proud of it. What a shame. He rather gain the whole world and lose his soul. He needs Jesus,” they typed.

Snoop caught wind of the comments and addressed the rumors in an Instagram video. He shows off the new ice in the clip, explaining that the pendant isn’t the devil or Baphomet but rather a goat—as in, the Greatest Of All Time.

“I don’t know what y’all thought this was, but this is the goat,” he explained while flexing the diamond icon. “I had this made because somebody told me I was the G.O.A.T., so I wanted to make me a goat chain.”

And Snoop ain’t lying. Since the beginning of the 2024 Paris Olympics, he has been having the time of his life in the City of Love. The emcee had the opportunity to swim alongside Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, cheered on both of his “nieces” Simone Biles and Coco Gauff, and even carried the torch for the world’s games.
