    Star Wars: Skeleton Crew Release Date & Photos Revealed for Disney+ Series

    The highly anticipated release date for Star Wars: Skeleton Crew has finally been revealed, alongside the first-look photos showing Jude Law ’s Jod Na Nawood and the young main leads.

    Disney+ ’s upcoming coming-of-age sci-fi series takes place in the same timeline as The Mandalorian ’s first season, following a group of kids lost in a mysterious and dangerous space as they try to find their way back home. It is set years before the events of Ahsoka and after the events of Return of the Jedi .

    “When four kids make a mysterious discovery on their seemingly safe home planet, they get lost in a strange and dangerous galaxy. Finding their way home, meeting unlikely allies and enemies will be a greater adventure than they ever imagined,” the synopsis reads.

    When is Star Wars: Skeleton Crew coming out?

    Star Wars: Skeleton Crew is slated to premiere on Disney+ on December 3. The series is created and executive produced by Jon Watts and scribe Christopher Ford, who previously worked together on 2017’s Spider-Man: Homecoming.

    In addition to Law as Jod Na Nawood, the Star Wars: Skeleton Crew cast includes Ryan Kiera Armstrong as Fern, Robert Timothy Smith as Neel, Ravi Cabot-Conyers as Wim, and Kyriana Kratter as KB. Nick Frost, on the other hand, will voice a new droid named SM 33.

    They will be joined by Twisters’ Tunde Adebimpe, The Banshees of Inisherin’s Kerry Condon, and Family Matters’ Jaleel White. The series’ episodes are directed by Watts, Jake Schreier, Lee Isaac Chung, Bryce Dallas Howard, David Lowery, and Everything Everywhere All at Once filmmaking duo Daniel Kwan and Daniel Scheinert.

    Additional executive producers include Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Kathleen Kennedy.

    Star Wars: Skeleton Crew hits Disney+ on December 3.
