Olympic golf tee times confirmed with Rory McIlroy set to face Scottie Scheffler

Rory McIlroy is set to play alongside Scottie Scheffler and Ludvig Aberg in a high-profile grouping for the first two rounds of the men's Olympic golf tournament . The competition kicks off at Le Golf National, the venue for the 2018 Ryder Cup, on Thursday. World No 1 Scheffler, who has six PGA Tour victories this season including The Masters, is tipped as the favorite for the gold medal.
He will play alongside Spain's Jon Rahm and Norway's Viktor Hovland at 10.55 am. Team GB is represented by Tommy Fleetwood and Matt Fitzpatrick. Fleetwood will tee off at 8.44 am with the USA's Wyndham Clark and Japan's Hidecki Matsuyama, while Fitzpatrick will play with France's Matthieu Pavon and America's Collin Morikawa at 11.06 am in the opening round.
McIlroy's Irish teammate Shane Lowry has been grouped with Byeong Hun An of South Korea and Canada's Nick Taylor at 10.44 am. Here are the full tee times for the first two rounds.
