One person was displaced after a fire broke out Tuesday at the Millbridge Gardens apartments in Gloucester Township, police say. Fire departments from Blackwood, Chews Landing, Erial and Lambs Terrace, along with departments from Pine Hill, Runnemede and Bellmawr responded to the blaze at 1341 Blackwood Clementon Road, building 900. The fire was brought under control and no injuries were reported, authorities said. One resident was displaced due to water damage. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Camden County Fire Marshal's Office and the Fire Marshal from the Chews Landing Fire Department, Gloucester Township Fire District 2. Police say this incident serves as a reminder for residents to check fire suppression systems, including alerts and audible alarm systems, to ensure they are operational. They say smoke alarms are a key component of any fire escape plan. Working smoke alarms provide early warnings, allowing a prompt evacuation. "
