By now we know that Rihanna can pull off any hair look. With a face card that lethal, she’s rightfully taking advantage of her endless hair options. And whether it’s her 2014 pink pixie or her Hannah Montana bangs, she’s pretty much experimented with every cut and color under the sun. And unsurprisingly, she makes us believe that every hairstyle she tries was specifically made for her. And for fans of Sex and the City , I fear Rihanna just did Carrie Bradshaw’s long curly hair better than Carrie.

Everyone has a personal favorite Rihanna hair era, and thankfully for us, practically every month she feeds us with brand new hair inspo . As Rihanna stans, we’ve always kept tabs on her latest hairstyles, but with the recent launch of Fenty Hair—it seems like the whole world is now watching her every hair move. And after she shared a new Savage x Fenty campaign that debuted her blonde curly hair, we’re fully convinced there’s no hairstyle she couldn’t slay.

Yesterday, Rihanna posted a teaser for an upcoming Savage x Fenty release, and she looked as stunning as ever in a new hairstyle. Even though most of her comments were just begging for new music (nothing new), all we could focus on was her brand new hair. We’ve seen her do blonde before , but this particular look just hits different . With the voluminous blonde curls and oversized fur coat, Rihanna is giving major season 2 Carrie Bradshaw vibes.

Regardless of your opinion of the problematic yet iconic Carrie Bradshaw, we can all at least admit that—she knows how to serve looks. Her incredible outfits have taken TikTok by storm, and her gorgeous curly hair is pretty much living on our Pinterest mood boards rent free. Even though the reference might be unintentional, we like to believe this is Rihanna’s way of channeling her inner Carrie Bradshaw. Because truly, Rihanna and Carrie couldn’t be more different (Rihanna would never think to do some of the things Carrie has), but icons recognize icons.
