As described by Netflix , Alan Bender, played by Ochmann, is Mexico's go-to guy for hostage negotiations and he's so wrapped up in his job that he's kind of dropped the ball on his family life, which isn't sitting well with his wife, Victoria (Alexander). So, they start going to couples therapy to try and sort things out. But plot twist! Alan discovers that Victoria's got a secret.
Things get even crazier when, during one of their therapy sessions, Alan gets a call: the president of Mexico and his mistress have been kidnapped by a criminal mastermind calling himself Lamb. As if that's not enough, just after Alan rushes off to deal with the situation, Lamb ups the stakes by kidnapping Victoria too.
Now, Alan's got to use all his negotiation skills to resolve the hostage situation. But can he also save his marriage while he's at it? Talk about a high-stakes balancing act.
