Target Temporarily Evacuated During Sheriff's Investigation In St. Mary's County (DEVELOPING)

A Target location in St. Mary's County was temporarily evacuated on Wednesday afternoon while the sheriff's office conducted an investigation in the area.

An alert was issued at 1:15 p.m. on July 31 cautioning that deputies were at the scene at Target in the First Colony Shopping Center in California for an active investigation.

According to the St. Mary's County Sheriff's Office, "at the request of store management, personnel, and customers have been evacuated."

The nature of the investigation was not disclosed.

Officials said that there were no injuries and no damage to property has been reported.

IF we don't do anything, these crimes will keep getting worse and worse. Our whole country is deteriorating due to liberal ideology and lack of accountability. The judicial system needs to get serious about fighting crime and making punishment harsh enough to actually be a deterrent. If you steal small value, lose a finger. If you steal large value, lose a hand. If you murder, the death penalty ASAP without delays to be executed within 90 days of sentencing. I'll bet a whole lot of this "bad behavior" would stop! I'm not yet sure what the punishment for drug dealing ought to be. But maybe if rape and murder had the exact same consequences, at least the victims would still be alive.

If only we had better 'leaders'! The problem is that most voters don't thoroughly research anything before casting a ballot! We need real leaders and officials in local and federal government who show they sincerely care about all legal citizens and put US first!
