One person commented, "The tail wag when she sees her friend." Another responded, "I’d hang out with miss Peaches all day. Soooooo sweet." Someone else replied, "Literally the sweetest girl brightening everyones day."

It does seem like ever since Portnoy adopted her all she does is live her best life and act like the sweetest girl ever. It's so strange to think that she was ever abandoned by anyone, but we sure are happy she has such an amazing forever home now. Dave Portnoy is just the sweetest dog dad.

If your own dog doesn't act as adorably as Miss Peaches when meeting or hearing a delivery driver, here are some tips to help you cope.

How To Train Your Dog Not To Bark At Delivery Drivers

When our Pomeranian was a puppy, and we were trying to socialize him, we made the mistake of asking a UPS driver who was delivering a package to our house if he would meet our dog. Ever since then our dog thinks every delivery person is there to visit him and he loses his marbles when the doorbell rings. Because we don't know if every delivery driver wants to meet a dog, we keep our dog inside when they come. This makes our dog bark a lot.

So, and I really need to take my own advice here, if you want to train your dog not to bark every time it's your Amazon prime day, you can desensitize your dog to the presence of delivery drivers and counter-condition them to respond calmly. The Hipster Hound suggests, "When your dog senses a presence at the door, they view it as an intruder and want to notify you. Then the barking begins. Teach your pup that they don’t have to bark every time someone is at the door . Anytime the barking stops, immediately reward your dog with a pat on the head or tell them “good boy or girl.” This teaches them that not barking gets them a special treat. Consistency is key, so be sure to reinforce this behavior whether it’s you, your spouse, your kids, or any roommates answering the door."
