Amazon MGM Studios Thriller ‘After The Hunt’ Rounds Out Cast

EXCLUSIVE: Lio Mehiel, Thaddea Graham, Will Price, Christine Dye, and Burgess Byrd have joined previously announced cast members Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield, Ayo Edebiri, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Chloë Sevigny in Amazon MGM Studios’ upcoming feature After the Hunt . The pic is produced by Imagine Entertainment will be released in theaters next year.

Julia Roberts, Chloë Sevigny & Ayo Edebiri Begin Filming Luca Guadagnino's 'After The Hunt' In London

Luca Guadagnino is directing the film from a script penned by Nora Garrett. Imagine Entertainment’s Brian Grazer and Allan Mandelbaum are producing alongside Guadagnino via his Frenesy banner. Imagine Entertainment’s Karen Lunder will executive produce alongside Nora Garrett. The film will start production this summer.

The film follows a college professor who finds herself at a personal and professional crossroads when a star pupil levels an accusation against one of her colleagues, and a dark secret from her own past threatens to come to light.

Mehiel made their feature film debut starring in Sundance 2023’s Mutt .The film won the festival’s top honor of Grand Jury Prize in the U.S. Dramatic Competition and will be distributed theatrically this fall via Music Box. Lío Mehiel is represented by Paradigm and Lighthouse Management + Media.

Graham is known for Curfew, The Letter for the King, and The Irregulars . Graham has since starred in two seasons of the BBC original series, Wreck , and in the final season of Sex Education for Netflix. Most recently, Graham wrapped a series regular role for Apple TV and was announced as part of the lead ensemble cast of the next Noah Baumbach feature. Graham is represented by Independent Talent Group.

Ayo Edebiri To Star Opposite Julia Roberts, Andrew Garfield In Amazon MGM's 'After The Hunt' From Luca Guadagnino

Price recently wrapped filming Tim Robinson’s HBO pilot, The Chair Company . Prior to this, Price wrapped James Mangold’s Bob Dylan biopic, A Complete Unknown , as well as Scarlett Johansson’s directorial debut, Eleanor the Great . Price is most recently seen as one of the leads of the Sony Pictures Television, Hulu, and Disney+ series Goosebumps . Price is represented by Buchwald and Brillstein Entertainment Partners.

Dye has over 35 years of stage and film work, with film credits including Challengers, Carol, Aftermath , and Bones and All . Dye is represented by Heyman Talent Agency.

Byrd’s recent film credits include Inconceivable and Bones and Al l. Burgess Byrd is represented by Creative Talent Company.
