Vehicle crashes into Valley Village building, 1 injured

A vehicle crashed into a commercial building Wednesday in the Valley Village area, and one person was taken to a hospital with unknown injuries.

The crash occurred at 10:55 a.m. in the 11600 block of West Riverside Drive, according to the Los Angeles Fire Department.

The cause of the crash was unclear. Fire officials said one "ill or injured person" was taken to a hospital from the scene, but no other details were immediately available.
