NEW MEXICO (KRQE) – The deli meat company Boar’s Head has expanded its recall of pre-packaged meats after four people died from listeria. The new recall covers 71 Boar’s Head products that were made between May 10 and July 29.

The initial recall covered 200,000 pounds of meat, but now, the company is calling back 7 million pounds. Items that are potentially contaminated include ham, beef salami, and bologna. More than three dozen people have become ill from the contaminated meats, but so far, no one living in New Mexico has reported being infected.
