Little Girl Gets Truck Sticked By Massive Hog At County Fair, Pops Right Back Up Like Nothing Happened

That’s going to leave a mark.

Fair seasons are about to be in full swing, which means it’s time for all of the FFA and 4-H livestock shows. If you grew up like me and spent most of your fair days volunteering at the barnyard or volunteering at these stock shows, you know that sometimes there is chaos.

I must admit, I am a horse person, and one summer, I did not believe showing livestock was harder than showing horses. So, I got a sheep handed to me, which put those words back in my mouth really quickly. Showing cattle, sheep, goats, and hogs is not for the weak. Even the smallest livestock animals can give you a run for your money, not wanting to behave or being feisty, making your time in the show ring less than enjoyable.

Most of the time, these tense moments are interjected with an adult or skilled livestock showman jumping in to help calm the situation before things get out of hand, but in this PeeWee ring for a hog show, the hogs were running the pen.

In a viral video, a group of young showmen and women find themselves in a wild ring of show hogs. I’d love to know how the ring got to this point of disarray, but there are hogs running rampant, one little girl lying over her pig’s back trying to keep it still, and a few kids corralled in a corner looking terrified.

When you have animals in a ring with no sort of lead line and just a little herding stick, when one animal goes rogue, it’s easy for the others to follow with little ability to control them.

Things in this show get even crazier when a little girl begins running after her hog and is truck sticked by another one crossing in her path. The viral five-second video will immediately put you in a chokehold as you watch it time and time again to unpack everything that happened.

A little girl in pigtails jogs towards her hog when out of nowhere, a colossal porker flies toward her, headbutting her in the stomach and taking her out. Given this girl is not very tall, she unfortunately doesn’t stand a chance against this pig, and he sends her flying. Despite the force she was rammed at, she takes it like a champ, dusks herself off, and grabs her show stick out of the shavings.

I respect the heck out of her for not being in a puddle of tears after this (because I totally would be). Thank goodness she is all okay because it makes you feel less horrible when you find yourself laughing at this video on a loop.
