I’m 40 and banished all my wrinkles using roast dinner trimmings – it’s better than Botox and you’ll save £155

A 40-YEAR-OLD anti-ageing whizz has shared how she uses the trimmings of her roast dinner to create a cure-all paste.

According to Stace Fizzy, the meaty solution is “better than Botox for wrinkles” and even has the power to fix eczema and CELLULITE.

Stace regularly lathers her face and body with beef tallow… yes, that’s cow fat.

“The results have been insane,” she says.

Beef tallow is a type of rendered fat derived from the fatty tissue of beef - typically suet, which is the fat surrounding the kidneys and loins.

Skincare whizzes have long been hailing it an anti-ageing hero, and now Stace has shared how it’s “transformed” her skin.

In a viral Instagram reel, she shared how she makes beef tallow using fat ripped from a Costco beef joint.

“It boosts circulation, increases collagen production, skin elasticity and promotes faster cell regeneration,” Stace tells.

“Apparently, some butchers give it away for free.”

To turn the slabs of white cow’s fat into beef tallow, you need to render it in the oven.

By cooking it at a low temperature, the liquid will separate from the solids - and that’s your tallow.

You can then strain and cool the fatty liquid (taking care not to burn yourself) which will produce the white or yellowish paste Stace claims is “better than Botox”.

    What’s the science behind it?

Beef tallow is a natural source of fat-soluble vitamins like A, D, E and K, which are crucial for maintaining healthy skin.

Vitamin A promotes skin cell turnover, which helps to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while Vitamin D supports skin cell growth and repair, helping to maintain the skin’s elasticity.

Vitamin E acts as a powerful antioxidant, protecting the skin from oxidative stress - one of the leading causes behind premature ageing.

Vitamin K helps with skin healing and is believed to reduce the appearance of dark spots or scars.

    What is Collagen?

    • Collagen is the most abundant protein in the human body and provides strength and structure to the skin and muscles
    • It plays a significant role in maintaining skin elasticity and hydration
    • As we age, collagen production decreases, leading to wrinkles, sagging skin and decreased skin firmness
    • Collagen production starts to dwindle in our mid-to-late 20s and early 30s. By 40, it has dropped dramatically

It's important to note that while collagen-based skincare products may offer benefits, their effectiveness can hugely vary.

Some experts suggest that topical application of collagen may have limited effectiveness compared to other skincare ingredients that stimulate collagen production within the skin.

While beef tallow itself doesn’t contain collagen, it supports the skin’s natural production of collagen.

The nutrients in tallow help to nourish the skin and create an environment conducive to collagen synthesis, which is crucial for skin elasticity and firmness.

“This is my top skincare recommendation and also literal proof of God,” Stace added.

“I’ve used all of the best super expensive, organic skincare products out there and nothing comes even close to delivering like tallow does.

“For everything from dry skin to acne, eczema, wrinkles, cellulite and everything else in between.”

According to Stace, bottles of beef tallow can cost up to £155 - making her at-home hack a much cheaper option.

    WARNING!

While many people find beef tallow beneficial for their skin, it’s important to do a patch test first.

This is particularly important if you have sensitive skin or are prone to breakouts, as it is a heavier fat.
