    Nobody 2 Cast: Christopher Lloyd to Reprise Role in Action Sequel

    Universal Pictures has officially confirmed that Emmy winner Christopher Lloyd will be coming back to the Nobody 2 cast for the upcoming action sequel to the 2021 action movie.

    Lloyd will be reprising his role as Hutch’s father David Mansell, who’s a retired FBI agent. In the first installment, he came to his son’s rescue by helping him fend off the rest of the Russian mafia. The Back to the Future star will next be seen in Netflix’s Wednesday Season 2 for a guest-starring role. He previously portrayed the role of Uncle Fester in the early ’90s adaptations of The Addams Family.

    Who is in the Nobody 2 cast?

    Lloyd will be rejoining returning cast members Bob Odenkirk and Connie Nielson. Golden Globe winner Sharon Stone has also been cast in the sequel as the main antagonist. The film will be directed by Indonesian filmmaker Tim Tjahjanto from a screenplay written by John Wick franchise creator Derek Kolstad, Odenkirk, Aaron Rabin, and Umair Aleem.

    Nobody 2 will be produced by Kelly McCormick and David Leitch for 87North, Odenkirk and Marc Provissiero for Odenkirk Provissiero Entertainment, and Braden Aftergood for Eighty Two Films. Universal Pictures executivces Jay Polidoro and Tony Ducret set to oversee the project.

    The first installment centered around former assassin Hutch Mansell, who finds himself involved in the criminal world again, after feeling overlooked and underestimated by everyone, including his family. Further details about the sequel’s plot are still under wraps. During its theatrical run, the film received positive reviews from critics. It also earned worldwide gross of over $57 million against a reported budget of around $16 million.
