    • NBC’s deal to broadcast the Olympics is worth $8bn (£6.2bn), not $8m as we stated ( The world is watching , 26 July, p40 from p42).

    • An opinion piece misnamed the charity World Central Kitchen as “World Street Kitchen” ( We all lose our humanity if we get used to the horrors of Gaza , 29 July, Journal, p1).

    • The French port of Brest is in Brittany, not Normandy as a picture caption said (Sailing celebration, 20 July, p34). This error was in our print edition only.
