In honor of Arnold Schwarzenegger 's birthday, fans are getting a real treat from his son-in-law, Chris Pratt .
On July 30, the Golden Globe winner rung in his 77th birthday, and to celebrate, Pratt shared a handful of intimate photos that showed Schwarzenegger enjoying quality time with a few of his grandkids and pets on Instagram.
The Guardians of the Galaxy star began the slideshow of snaps with a black-and-white image of himself playing a round of chess with Schwarzenegger. He then followed up with a picture of the duo seated outside, also in the frame was a husky that sweetly cuddled up to the 45-year-old movie star. The final photo showed Schwarzenegger in his kitchen entertaining his two young granddaughters, Lyla and Eloise , as well as his pet pig.
Pratt, who is married to the Terminator actor's daughter Katherine , accompanied the post with a sweet tribute, writing in the caption, "Happy Birthday Arnold! You’re one of a kind. Looking forward to another year of sage advice, good cigars, chess whoopings and hand feeding homemade cookies to the many barn animals that live in your kitchen."
Fans soon echoed the Parks and Recreation alum's wishes, with many sending sweet birthday messages to Schwarzenegger in the comments.
"Happy birthday to the legend," one declared in part.
Another hoped "more blessings and good health" be sent Schwarzenegger's way, following reports that he was recovering from a serious health procedure not too long ago.
Others appeared to be a little jealous of Pratt, with one Instagram user joking, "Imagine being able to say your father in law is both the Terminator AND the former governor of California."
Someone else suggested fans weren't the only ones in awe of Pratt's familial ties: "I know the kid in you is still in shock he’s your father in law lol."
"All I see is Star Lord and Terminator," a third quipped.
While Tuesday was all about Schwarzenegger, the family will soon be celebrating the birth of another family member. This past June, Pratt and his wife of five years announced they're expecting baby number three . Along with the two daughters he shares with Katherine, The Garfield Movie voice actor is also a father to son Jack , whom he welcomed with ex, Anna Faris .
