Team U.S.A. men’s basketball member LeBron James made history on Wednesday afternoon during their game against South Sudan.

James reached a remarkable milestone by becoming the third player to score 300 points in Olympic history.

This achievement places him in an elite group of American players, joining Kevin Durant and Carmelo Anthony, who have also reached this prestigious mark.

James accomplished this feat with a powerful dunk in the first quarter, assisted by Los Angeles Lakers star and teammate Anthony Davis.

James entered the 2024 Olympics with a career total of 273 points (third in U.S. history), 88 assists (first among American players), and 95 rebounds (fourth in U.S. Olympic history).

His performance throughout the tournament has been consistently impressive, from the exhibition games to the preliminary rounds.

Against Serbia, where Team U.S.A. secured a dominant, 110-84, victory, James nearly had a triple-double, finishing with 21 points, nine assists, and seven rebounds.

While these individual accolades are significant, James remains focused on the bigger goal.

He aims to secure another gold medal, hoping to replicate the success he achieved in 2008 and 2012.
