    There is no shortage of reality television shows these days. Fans quickly become invested in the lives of the cast members, especially their romantic relationships. While Black women seemingly get the short end of the stick in reality television romances, like in season six of Netflix’s “Love is Blind,” there are some beautiful relationships born from the reality world. Many Black women have found their soulmates on reality television.

    From “Love Island” to “The Real Housewives of Atlanta,” Black women are being shown in healthy, thriving relationships. Check out these seven Black women who found their soulmate on reality television.

    Lauren Hamilton

    Lauren Hamilton and her husband, Cameron, captured the hearts of reality television lovers on season one of Netflix’s “Love is Blind.” During the first installment of the dating experiment where men and women talk to each other in pods and come out engaged, the Hamilton’s love story began. The couple had great chemistry both in and out of the pods, and fans were enamored with their budding love. Since the Hamiltons walked down the aisle in 2018, their relationship has remained steadfast as they continue to grow in love.

    Kandi Burruss

    Successful singer and songwriter Kandi Burress added Bravo’s “Real Housewives of Atlanta” to her resume in 2009. At the time, she didn’t realize that the decision would lead to her finding her soulmate and business partner Todd Tucker. Tucker was a line producer for the show when they started getting to know each other during a cast trip to Africa. In 2014, the duo tied the knot with a lavish wedding that was aired on Bravo. Burruss and Tucker’s relationship has experienced some rocky family moments that have played out on the show. However, The two have weathered the storms and their marriage is still going strong after 10 years.

    Tamar Braxton

    Singer and reality television star Tamar Braxton has been very candid about her love life on television screens. After many ups and downs in her love life, she decided to try a new opportunity. She decided to go on Peacock’s “Queens Court,” a reality dating show. Braxton mingled with several eligible bachelors before picking JR Robinson as her guy. The two became engaged in 2023 and are still together today.

    JaNa Craig

    JaNa Criag was on season six of “Love Island USA.” Things got off to a rough start for her, but then came Kenny Rodriguez, or as she affectionately likes to call him, “Kennyyyy.” They went through ups and downs before officially coupling up. Craig and Rodriguez nabbed third place in the dating competition and are still together after the season wrapped.

    Serena Page is one of the latest examples of Black women finding their soulmate. She was a fan-favorite on the latest season of “Love Island USA,” and her love with Kordell Beckham brought many new fans to the franchise. Their courtship didn’t immediately take off as she considered herself to be a “slow burner.” As they spent more time in the villa, Page’s feelings started to grow stronger for Beckham. After the events of Casa Amor, their relationship seemed to have reach its end. However, the pair came back together after a big blow out and forgiveness. The duo re still stealing the hearts of many through their social media videos.
