McKayla Maroney Savagely Roasts MyKayla Skinner For Simone Biles Shade

Former Team USA gymnast McKayla Maroney isn’t afraid to tell it like it is.

So when Simone Biles threw shade at former Olympic teammate MyKayla Skinner on Instagram for questioning the talent and work ethic of her current teammates, which include Suni Lee, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera, Maroney chimed in, applauding Biles’ epic clapback.

“It doesn’t get more iconic than this,” Maroney wrote. “She f’d around n found out fr. Feels like I need to apologize just to redeem my first name.”

Maroney’s declaration served as both a dig at Skinner and a tip of the cap to Biles’ comments that Team USA’s nickname was “F around and find out.”

And find out Skinner did.

Biles’ mic-drop moment and Team USA’s subsequent gold-medal win in the artistic all-around team final was a perfect thumbing of the nose to Skinner’s comments, in which she stated “the talent and the depth just isn’t what it used to be” besides Biles, while also claiming “a lot of girls don’t work as hard and just don’t have the work ethic.”
