Ryan Phillipe Shows Off Ripped Physique at 49

Cruel Intentions star Ryan Phillipe stunned fans with a candid photo posted to Instagram showing off the 49-year-old actor’s unbelievably ripped physique .

On July 31, Phillipe posted a shirtless photo of himself in his home garden clutching a pink hibiscus plant. “My hibiscus mad lovely rn,” the Shooter star captioned his saucy post.

Predictably, fans went wild over the snap. Many of Phillipe’s female followers decided he was a “zaddy,” a slang term for attractive, fit older men. “Most incredible perfect man ever,” one of the actor’s fans wrote. Another asked if it was weird that they’d had a crush on Phillipe “since I was nine.”

“Looking super fit, ripped, and swole like an action hero!” an adoring commenter gushed. “How has this man not been named Sexiest Man Alive yet?” someone asked of People ’s annual honor .

This is the second time in as many months that Phillipe has given fans an eyeful. Back in June, he posted a similarly shirtless photo as he lounged in his pool. “ContentMANt,” he captioned that post.

Back in March, Phillipe told Fox News Digital that he recently emerged from a “darker place” thanks to a holistic regimen. Phillipe admitted that after shooting the 2023 action thriller Prey , “I went on this spiritual journey where I started going really deep inside. Since I started that journey, I have not been more at peace."

Phillipe continued: “My depression is gone. I shedded [sic] addictions, so I'm a big proponent for people going inward and trying to understand those aspects of life."
