Dionne Warwick, Disney Junior Live, Melissa Etheridge and stars of ‘The Sopranos’ are among the highlights of the The Grand’s 24-25 season.

Dionne Warwick, Disney Junior Live, Melissa Etheridge, and the cast of ‘The Sopranos’ are highlights of the Grand’s 2024-25 season that already has 50 shows on sale.

They include comedy, family entertainment, holiday programming, tribute concerts and the already-announced Broadway national tours that will run at the Playhouse on Rodney Square.

The Grand was to celebrate its new offerings Wednesday night in the Market Street opera house.

“This year in particular, The Grand has something for audiences of all ages and tastes, and we are proud to present one of the strongest and most exciting lineups in recent memory,” said Skip Pennella, executive director in a press release.

“It is our sincere hope that we continue to honor the rich history of these iconic buildings as Delaware’s home for the performing arts, as well as continue to serve our community through our many education, engagement, and outreach initiatives.”

As of now, the season kicks off Sept. 7 with comedian Kathleen Madigan and ends May 23, 2025 with Roger McGuinn.

New shows are added during the year and can be found on The Grand’s website .

One unusual offering is In Conversation with The Sopranos featuring Steve Schirripa, Vincent Pastore and Michael Imperioli (Feb. 1) and  Choir! Choir! Choir! Presents: We Will CHOIR! You!: An EPIC QUEEN Sing-Along (Nov. 16).

Family shows include Disney Junior Live On Tour: Let’s Play (Oct. 9); Mutts Gone Nuts, Unleashed (Nov. 2); and Jim Henson’s Fraggle Rock: Back To The Rock LIVE (April 27).

Comedy shows include Kathleen Madigan (Sept. 7); Vir Das: Mind Fool Tour (March 21); and Colin Mochrie & Brad Sherwood: Asking for Trouble (March 30).

Holiday shows include  A Magical Cirque Christmas (Dec. 8); Celtic Woman White Christmas Symphony Tour (Dec. 17); and Charlie Brown Christmas Live On Stage (Dec. 22).

Musicians include Damien Escobar The Victory Lap Tour (Nov. 7); Dionne Warwick (Nov. 9); The Robert Cray Band (Nov. 1); and Melissa Etheridge: I’m Not Broken Tour (April 11).

Tribute shows include So Good! The Neil Diamond Experience Starring Robert Neary (Sept. 27), Tony Bennett – The Official Musical Celebration (Oct. 11), and Celia Vive: A Tribute to Celia Cruz (Feb. 7).

The Grand plans an announcement later this summer detailing its 48 th Annual Grand Gala and the Ultimate After Party at the Hotel Du Pont. It’s the venue’s premiere fundraiser and provides money for education and community engagement activities.

Donations help support community outreach,  sensory-friendly performances, charitable ticket vouchers, free Summer in the Parks concerts, among many other offerings

Tickets are now on sale to the general public and can be purchased online or by calling 302-652-5577 or 302-888-0200. The venue warns that a heavy call volume is expected in the next few days.

The fastest and easiest way to guarantee the best seats is to purchase online, they said.

The Grand offers deals: Purchasing 3 shows will save you 10% per ticket and purchasing 6 shows will save you 20% per ticket, along with free parking vouchers and a dining discount card to many of the local restaurants. Those discounts don’t apply to Broadway shows.
