WILKINSON COUNTY, Miss. (TCN) -- Two women and a man were arrested in Louisiana for allegedly killing a 20-year-old man and leaving his body in Mississippi.

According to WVLA-TV, Steven Harris IV's family reported him missing out of Louisiana on July 17. Law enforcement in Mississippi found out about his disappearance three days later. His bullet-riddled body was found on July 23 in Wilkinson County, Mississippi.

The Advocate reports West Feliciana Parish Sheriff's Office investigators identified the suspects in Harris' death as DJ Hollins, Calajia Jackson, and Allyah Martin. Sheriff Brian Spillman alleges the suspects "conspired to lure Steven Harris from West Feliciana Parish to Mississippi, where he was shot and killed."

Spillman reportedly wrote in a news release, "We believe DJ Hollins used a Glock handgun with a switch that made it capable of firing in full auto mode to kill Mr. Harris."

WAFB-TV reports all three are facing charges of first-degree murder and conspiracy to commit first-degree murder, while Hollins is facing an additional charge of possession of a machine gun.

Martin and Harris reportedly have a child together and they were supposed to appear in court on July 18 regarding custody.

Spillman said officials in Mississippi are seeking charges against the suspects, but he believes the "plan to commit this crime was hatched" in Louisiana.

Harris played in the marching band at Southern University and A&M College, where he was a sophomore majoring in criminal justice. The school's band, Human Jukebox, described him as a "dear student and talented musician."

They wrote, "Steven's infectious enthusiasm, kind spirit, and love for music made him a cherished member of our band family. His presence brought joy and inspiration to all of us."
